Picking a FemDom Name

Picking a FemDom Name – Princess, Goddess, Mistress?!

One of the first things you will want to do is select a name for yourself, as a Domme. This is super important because this is how you will be identified in the world of online female domination! It can be an overwhelming process so hopefully this will help a little bit.

* By the way, even if you also perform vanilla content and/or shows, it is recommended to keep your FemDom content separate with a new name. This includes opening a completely new video store, if you have one, to further separate your vanilla content from your FemDom content.

With that out of the way, here are a few tips to selecting your FemDom name:

1. Make Sure the Name isn’t Taken

The last thing you want is to have the same or similar name to another porn star, fetish star and/or Domme. The best way to check this is to Google the name you’re interested in using. If nothing really comes up, then you can most likely use it. If one or more people are already using the same name or a name that’s similar, it’s most likely best to pick a completely new name.

In other words, when people Google your name, you want most, if not all, of what shows up to be of you and your content!

2. Decide Between Princess, Goddess, Mistress, etc.

I see a lot of newer Dommes asking the difference between these titles. Honestly, in my opinion, it doesn’t matter too much. They mean different things to different people and it is nearly impossible to come to an agreed upon consensus for everyone. For example, some people think that “Princess” means “brat” and can therefore switch between being a Domme and a sub. Others think that “Princess” can simply mean a more “young” and “spoiled” Domme. The list goes on and on but it is more of a mindset that you feel you connect with the most. No one really gives it too much thought.

From my experience, most online subs will call you whatever they want between these titles. It’s a minor detail that most Dommes learn not to care too much about, especially for subs that don’t interact with you on a regular basis. Some subs do ask, even if you do have such a title in front of your name so… haha. Don’t pay too much attention to it.

3. Pick Something You Can Live With!

It goes without saying that this is what you will identify yourself as to the entire world of online domination. Make sure it’s something you like and will stick with. The last thing you want is to have to start all over with a completely new name, which will backtrack any progress you may have made.
