Among everything else to learn as a newer Domme, of course there’s a need to know about the best camera equipment to use. This is currently the top and easiest to use equipment available today.

Webcams

If you are new to the FemDom world and want to film a few FemDom clips to see how things go, without a huge investment, a webcam might be the way to go. I myself started off my clip making using just my webcam.

A bonus is that you can easily give FemDom camming a try, if you’re up for it, and use the same webcam for that as you do to film.

Here are the best webcams currently available:

Logitech Brio

The Logitech Brio is the most popular webcam currently available. It’s Amazon’s #1 New Release in webcams and is very known to cam models. Among the webcam choices, this one has the easiest settings and thus is the easiest to get to look right. This is a solid choice you cannot go wrong with.

Razer Kiyo

The Razer Kiyo is a newer webcam on the market, which Razer is marketing as their “Streaming Camera”. The feature that sets this webcam apart from the others is its adjustable ring light. Along with it’s advanced autofocus feature makes it a great camera for streaming.

Logitech C922x Pro Stream

The Logitech C922x Pro Stream is the newest webcam on the market, quickly making it Amazon’s top Webcams. Logitech markets this webcam specifically to streamers that broadcast. So, it stands to reason it would also work well for Dommes that stream their FemDom shows. This webcam features a crisper, sharper image that is slightly more difficult to set right than the Logitech C920.

Camcorders

For those Dommes looking to set up their clip filming beyond a webcam, the next step is usually purchasing a camcorder. This will give your clips a noticeable quality boost with out any dramatic technology learning.

The general consensus is this camcorder:

Canon VIXIA HF R800

Many Dommes use the Canon VIXIA HF R800 camcorder and it works out nicely without any heavy technology switches. If you worked with a webcam before, the biggest noticeable change is to not be able to see yourself as large on your computer screen when filming. Instead, you are confined to the recording box of the Vixia. However, you are able to hook the Vixia up to a smaller TV monitor, for example, if you work best seeing yourself in a larger picture as you film.

Lighting

No matter what camera you decide to get, you’ll need to purchase a professional lighting kit in order to look your best.

To keep things simple, I will recommend this basic, starter lighting kit that has more than what you need to get started.

This small, affordable kit has it all. In many cases, you may only need one of the lights. They are what I myself use and are very easy to set up and take down.
