This is a question that I see over and over again, especially as FemDom is getting more and more popular. Hopefully, I can shed some light on this topic, from my experience, into exploring the amazing world of female domination!

First and foremost, I want to make it clear that female domination is not an easy way to make fast cash! Your guaranteed failure is to assume you can simply show up and say, “Give Me your money, slave!” It just doesn’t work that way. If it did, we’d all be insanely rich, haha.

After you obtain the time and experience with female domination, that is when you will likely have a pool of subs to choose from that will listen to your commands for cash or mostly anything else. It is during this time, too, that you learn how to effectively interact with these subs and keep them coming back for more. However, again, this takes time and experience.

Of course, the first thing you will want to do is learn everything you can about female domination. However, before you dive into learning all you can head first, I want to highlight a few things that stuck out to me during my learning process. It is my hope that this will help you determine if female domination is right for you.

* FemDom is a completely different mindset to be in for many women.

For many women, FemDom requires a backwards, opposite thinking of what you think you know about what “men” (it helps me to think of them as subs as oppose to men, haha) find sexy. I remember when I was first learning about it, I was like… WHAT?! Haha. You mean, I don’t have to be polite and say thank you? They like it when you tell them that they are disgusting? I shouldn’t try to make them feel better about their tiny dick? The list goes on.

* FemDom is a lifestyle and not a job.

This can be said of most cam girls but it is also true for online FemDommes. FemDom can certainly be empowering, fun and intriguing but it can also be very uncomfortable, especially if you are not used to it or do not mean what you are saying. I think it would be naive to think that you can simply be some kind of FemDom actress, and flip FemDom on and off like a light switch for when you need it and when you don’t.

To really make FemDom profitable, it will likely take a lot of time and work. It will be extremely difficult to only do FemDom a few hours per day while remaining very successful, as a new Domme. It is because of this that I call it a life style. Being in the required FemDom mindset for 8+ hours per day is not for everyone and that’s okay.

The bottom line is that if you are literally only doing FemDom for money and you find absolutely 0 enjoyment out of it or, worse yet, find FemDom as a whole very uncomfortable… DO NOT DO FEMDOM!

With that out of the way, let the learning process begin!

I like to start out with books that will provide a solid foundation. Here are a few to get you started:

• The Mistress Manual: The Good Girl’s Guide to Female Dominance by Mistress Lorilei
• Worshipping your Wife by Mark Remond.
• Female Domination: An exploration of the male desire for Loving Female Authority by Elise Sutton
• The FemDom Experience by Elise Sutton
• Becoming a Slave: The Theory & Practice of Voluntary Servitude by Jack Rinella

These books should give you great insight into the female domination world. Although these are mostly tools for real life relationships, their deep knowledge will be applied to the online FemDom world as well. The more you understand your power, the better you can use it!

Once you have a solid grasp on female domination from literature, you can take things a step further and learn from already established, successful online Dommes.

This can be done by simply going to their clip stores, watching the previews and reading the description of their various FemDom clips. However, to get the most out of your learning experience, with permission from the Domme, you may also purchase some of their clips to learn and gather inspiration. It is important that you ask before you buy their clips because some Dommes may find it rude to buy them otherwise. This is especially true if you blatantly copy their idea. Never directly copy the work of another Domme!

Some established Dommes offer classes and/or will work with new domes one on one. I am one of them so feel free to message me. This is also a great way to learn! For this, message the Domme you’d like to learn from personally for such a request. Keep in mind, there will most likely be a fee for such a service.

After you have a firm grasp from literature and from established Dommes, it is a good time to get your feet wet by creating clips and/or performing live on cam and going from there.
