This is a popular question from newer Dommes. I’ve been a non-nude model my entire camming career so let me shed some light on this topic.

Many times, I feel like newer Dommes that want to be non-nude think this also means not having to acknowledge anything sexual. I want to make it clear that the world of online female domination is an extremely sexual world. It is very naive to think that you can be amazingly successful while only providing non-nude and non-sexually themed shows.

In my experience, most subs go to FemDom friendly cam sites and purchase FemDom clips in order to masturbate. It sounds a bit crude, but if you are uncomfortable helping subs get to their orgasm, or speaking about their orgasm in any way, being an online dominatrix is most likely not the right job for you, non-nude or not.

With this out of the way, let’s start with the definition of non-nude. The most agreed upon consensus for what a non-nude modeling means is that the model’s cam shows, cam room, FemDom clips and/or persona is a “non-nude focus”. This means that the Domme may actually get nude but that the focus is not on the nudity itself.

Confusing, right? The bottom line is that it’s important to understand that a non-nude Domme can mean completely different things to different Dommes and subs. Therefore, it’s really important to define what non-nude domination means to you and be ready to communicate that to your various subs.

The first step for any non-nude Domme is to clarify what you are comfortable with regarding your comfort level in exposing your body. What does non-nude mean to you? Does that mean your lingerie doesn’t come off? Sheer lingerie? Are you comfortable not wearing a bra in a tight t-shirt? Wet t-shirt without a bra? Are you okay with being nude but using your hands to cover up any nudity? What about “nip-slips” Or, showing camel toe?

​​Be prepared for subs asking about your boundaries and even testing them. They will most likely ask you questions you didn’t even think of so that is why this step is really important. The last thing you want to do is to do something and then later regret doing it.

As an extension of what non-nude domination is to you, you’ll next want to clarify what you are comfortable with regarding other sexual acts. For example, how much dirty talk is okay for you? What about sucking on or jerking off a dildo, if you decide to do more intense jerk off instruction or cock worshiping videos? How much detail, if any, will you go into about your sex life during a cuckolding session? These are just some of the questions you may encounter in an online FemDom session or clip requests.

As a further extension of what non-nude modeling is to you, you will now want to clarify what you are comfortable with in terms of what you expect from your subs. Are you okay seeing them naked? Are you okay with them masturbating to you? These are usually givens, in a typical FemDom session, so it is best to clarify now what it is you are getting yourself into.

After you clarify what non-nude is and your comfort zones for yourself and your subs, you can now work on the next step to becoming a non-nude dominatrix.

This one is the most important because it is how you’ll be presenting yourself to your room with your look, personality, activities, shows and everything else. Is your persona more sensual? Or, is your persona more mean? Do you have a persona at all or are you acting more like your natural self? Do you not get nude because subs aren’t worthy of seeing you or is nudity something you use to further their desires/submission towards you? These are just questions to get you started. There is, of course, no right way to be a Domme. It is important to be the Domme you are happiest with and that you feel comfortable and in control with.

I’ve compiled a list of helpful pointers I’ve learned from being a non-nude model over the years.

– Be Ready for Negative Responses.

No matter what, you still going to have members in your room that range from confused to downright offended and extremely rude to you that you’re non-nude. This is mostly in the live camming world but I have seen it happen everywhere, especially in places where there are a lot of vanilla customers as well. It is to be expected and not something to be discouraged about.

– You will need to get used to communicating your comfort zone.

As with the above, there are even subs that can expect nudity. It is best to get really comfortable communicating what you will and will not do and to communicate that in such a way that is appropriate for your FemDom persona.

– Always Put Yourself First

Especially when you’re a newer non-nude Domme, there can be days that are discouraging. This can be because many members assume you have a price to get nude or that the only thing guys spend money on is nudity and beyond. Just remember that it is impossible, even as a completely nude Domme, to make every sub a big, satisfied spender so remember to do what makes you happy first.

Your last task is to find the right FemDom friendly cam sites and clip sites for you and your style. It may take some time to figure out what the right cam site is for you. I expend on this more in my camming as an online dominatrix article.

As with everything, it will take time. It will take time to clarify what non-nude domination is to you and to define your comfort zone for yourself and subs. It will take time to prepare your persona, shows and/or clips up front. It will take time to refine and gain experience on cam/in clips and to find the right sites for you.
