I’ve seen ​a lot of drama circulating lately about what the right way to do FemDom is. I know this is a sensitive topic for many people so I will only share my perspective on this respectfully.

In my opinion, the best way to do FemDom is…

Whatever the Domme wants!
At the end of the day, there are a ton of Domination styles. There are also a ton of fetishes and a ton of subs that look for different things. I’d like to believe that there is a Domme for every sub. This really means there is no one right way of doing domination.

I understand it can be a challenging. We are all bound by our own experiences and that forms our perception of “the way things are”. In our world, we’re correct. However, it’s important to have an open mind and see that there are other ways of doing things. After all, what works for us may not work for someone else and vice versa. As long as the Domme is not a slave to the sub and is enjoying herself, then I believe it is still considered FemDom.

I believe the worst thing we can do in situations where a Domme does something differently than what we do is hurt each other. We, as Women, are much stronger and empowered together then we are divided. There are enough males in the world that judge us, try to belittle us, control us or feel we have to abide by a certain set of rules. We don’t need to be a part of this or in any way contribute to this ourselves.

I mean, seriously, how awesome would it be to truly come together as a true Sisterhood? That is always what I strive to do and that is one of the reasons I created DommeSource.

Sometimes, it’s important to remember to step back and realize everyone is just trying their best to get by in their world. Let’s take every opportunity possible to strengthen each other as women and as FemDommes.
